Mirror of Mind (English translation of gujarati article Man no Ariso)

We look for our physical appearance in the mirror every day, but do we look towards our mental appearance? We always pamper our body, have we ever seen our mind?

Our happiness is locked in mind’s mirror. If you want to search the key, there is one condition, you have to be alone for some time where there is nobody and there is no noise. Only yourself and silence.

The need of heart is expressiveness which we don’t fulfil that’s why we cannot able to see our mirror of mind and even can’t able to search it.

  • What you like – Express it.
  • What you don’t like – Express it.
  • What you love to wear – Wear it.
  • What you don’t like to wear – Don’t wear it.
  • What you love to eat – Have that kind of food.
  • What you hate to eat – Ignore that kind of food.

We do exactly the opposite.

We speak to please people, not to please ourselves.

We choose favourite outfit, but body doesn’t support it (blame ourselves that weight is too much)

We set our food pattern to please people, continuously perform activities to show-off people. Thus, how can we get mirror of mind? We feel sorrow.

In order to get happiness, we should train our mind. Understand your heart’s wishes and train your mind to fulfil those wishes. Let the mind realise about wishes of your heart. Hence, you have to create rhythm between your heart and mind to get mirror of mind for your happiness. You will have to give efforts to create a rhythm.

Our great problem is whatever we like, we don’t do it and whatever we do that we don’t like – this is the root for our sophistication attitude. We wear sophistication mask every time, mask takes place of mirror. Mask or mirror – exists only one.

We must take stand for our happiness by our own. We should take responsibilities for our wishes, dreams, favourable activities rather than to be dependent on our parents, spouse, friends and relatives. At certain age or period, we should be emotionally independent, we can’t afford to be always emotionally dependent on others. Sometimes, dependency leads towards despondency.

As we give priority about our physical appearance same as we must give priority for inner appearance as well, we know ourselves better than anyone.

Don’t set sophistication mask between your heart and mind, then you automatically get mirror between them. Feel the feelings of your heart, understand your wishes or aspirations of your heart and train your mind to fulfil those aspirations. This rhythm automatically set mirror or we can say in other words: if mind’s mirror is there, there is rhythm between mind and heart itself and this is the source of your happiness.

  • By knowing your mind, you will get mirror of mind.
  • By ignoring your mind, you will get mask of sophistication.

Spare few minutes or hours for yourself alone, analysis your behaviour, attitude, perceptions and life, ask question to yourself – Am I living that life at present which I wanted to live?

If you are happy then you can make others happy. Healthy yourself is the foundation of healthy relationship with your near and dear ones.

We measure success of people by “SUCCESS LADDER” only but real grounds of success measurements of any person is “SUPER- SUCCESS LADDER”.

Success Ladder doesn’t make any sense without Super-success Ladder.

Materialistic things can achieve at any time by putting efforts but non- materialistic things are hard to achieve, it is not everyone’s cup of tea.

People who have all material things but their nature is rude, having superiority complex in behaviour, you never enjoy their company and definitely start to avoid these types of people.

Earning of “MONEY” is easy, anyone can earn money but Earning of “RESPECT” is not so easy, everyone have to make more efforts to achieve respect by their deeds and nature.

કુટુંબની એકતા [Unity of Family]

કુટુંબનો પાયો જ પરસ્પર પ્રેમ, વિશ્વાસ અને માન-સન્માન છે, એમાં દરેક વ્યક્તિ સમજણ, ધીરજ, ક્ષમા, જતુ કરવાની ભાવના જેવા ગુણો કેળવે તો જ જીવનમાં રંગ હોય છે. કુટુંબ એક માણસથી નથી બનતુ પણ માણસોના સમુહથી બને છે. એકમેકના વિચારોથી, પ્રતિભાથી કુટુંબની આર્થિક પ્રગતિ થતી હોય છે, ઘણાં બધા ફળ મળે છે, જેમાં જીવન જીવવાની કળા આવડી જાય છે, જે આધ્યાત્મિકતા તરફ લઈ જાય છે. આપણુ જીવન વસંત ઋતુના વૃક્ષની જેમ એકદમ હર્યુંભર્યું  બની જાય છે.

જ્યારે ઈર્ષા, સ્વાર્થીપણુ, કુટુંબીય રાજનીતિ એનું સિંચન કરીશું તો જીવનમાં એકલતા આવી જશે, કોઈ જ વિકાસ નહિ થાય. આવા માણસો આગ વગર મનોમન બળતા જ રહે છે અને એમનું જીવન પાનખર ઋતુના સૂકા વૃક્ષ જેવું બની જાય છે.

દરેક કુટુંબ જો હર્યા-ભર્યા વૃક્ષની જેમ હશે, તો આખો સમાજ તંદુરસ્ત બનશે.

English Translation:-

Unity of Family

The foundation of family is “Love, faith and respect with each other”. Family is unit of more than one person, single person doesn’t categories as family. Every person of the family should develop the qualities of tolerance, forgiveness, patience, understanding with each other in order to taste the fruits of happiness, inner peace, financial development, mental wellness etc. This will lead us in a spiritual path, our life will be like lively and colorful tree, full of leaves, fruits and flowers.

On the contrary, If we develop envy, aggression, selfishness, then our life will become hell, we will lead nowhere, we will feel isolation, cloudiness and lethargy, our life will be like dry tree, absence of leaves, fruits and flowers.

Interest + Focus + Hard work = Success

A simple but effective formula for success. You need at least these three ingredients for the recipe of success.

If you have keen interest in something, you are focused on it consciously and you add efforts to achieve it- this harmony comes with success in your life, this is applicable to every aspect not in particular context.

Don’t be biased that I am not able to do things, do everything with faith in yourself. Don’t feel fear for trying new things, explore as much as you can. The more you explore, the more you get knowledge and the more you feel contented. Unwrap your happiness by working on your goal with hard work and give it a try with self-confidence.

That attempt will may or may not give you winning position or make you winner but at least give you learning, that will make you more clear and strong towards your goal and make you succeed in next attempt. SELF TIME FOR SATISFIED LIFE!

 “We are not machine.”

We all know that what above sentence mean, but are we able to understand it properly? As the Technological development is at the peak and the daily usage of the machines in our life are becoming the vital part of the life making our life easy and convenient, but we have become addicted to the machine and technology turning our self into it. Today’s era is very fast, we run for the standard life, career stability, money stability and this has become the vital part of our life. But we forget stability of our self. What about ourselves. Are we sparing time for ourselves?

We have become very slow in this fast-paced era.

How do we avoid slowness in our routine? The answer is very simple but effective.

Start to spare time with yourself at least 20 minutes to 1 hour in a day for your favorite activity.

When it comes to spare the time with yourself start with your favorite hobbies, make a time for the favorite activity or hobby it can be anything like singing, dancing, writing, photography, cooking, any outdoor game or the indoor game or anything you like to do most. Make a time for your favorite activities.

  • You won’t become “life machine”.

You will be surely wondering that what is “life machine”? “Life machine” is part of human being. If any person is juggling for the life responsibilities, survival and doesn’t give time towards their enjoyment than that person is becoming a life machine, as person doesn’t live his/her life but just got stuck into the so-called life responsibilities.

  • Improvising relationship.

Living life with the self gives you more satisfaction towards your life. Nowadays many don’t understand meaning of the relationship, they take it as responsibilities and take burden towards it, which eventually results into not giving the proper space to the dear ones and making them oblige to do what they want and this create a ruckus into the life and making one miserable. So, if you don’t want your life to be in disturbance then work towards yourself start giving time to yourself and life will become wonderful not just responsibilities.

  • Energy tonic.

Rejuvenating, by making yourself busy into your favorite activities will help you to boost your energy level which will help you to rejuvenate yourself in life. By feeling energetic you can more focus on your regular work and activities through improvising the output into the work. It will eventually help to balance both your professional and personal life.

  • Gather knowledge in your interest area.

Knowledge helps person to feel more powerful and confident, by being active into your interest area you will strive for more knowledge and will explore more into it, this will make you feel more satisfied.

  • You will get change from routine.

We all want change from our routine, for example can we just have bread-butter breakfast for straight 10 days? Answer would be “NO”, we will surely demand different breakfast. We feel tired by repetitive tasks in our daily life, we demand for change and this one thing of sparing time with yourself will give you little change from your schedule, that is the source of mindfulness.

Ultimately, human being demand one thing i.e. Peace. Peace, freedom of thinking, implementation and space to give time for ourselves, we all want just these things and if we have all these, we’ll be happy and satisfied towards life.

If you are stuck in somewhere in life, your family members or partner will not able to maintain your space, you are performing those things which you don’t like, you are searching for your preferable profession and you are currently working in other profession like this anything you suffer or else you face something than this one technique become magic in your life.

ADAPTION OF CHANGE THROUGH SELF-TALK

It is an ultimate truth that everyone needs to pass from the process of the change, and sometimes it is very difficult to pass from this process, and this is the part where people fail to deliver their true potential. Many got stuck in this process and can’t accept the change and ultimately resist the change and blames the whole world for their failure and blames everything on the ‘God’. Now the main fight towards the resistance to change and accepting the change, starts! people who look forward to making their life better tends to fight against the resistance and accepts the change, they ultimately win in their life’s game and win every situation to becomes the ultimate winner.

An opportunist will exploit every possible event in their life to make it a success, they are not just lucky to be winner or have the successful life but, they tend to fight against all the odds in their life to make it better and better, their acceptance towards the adaption of change makes them the winner.

One of the way to get success in the adaption of the change is through the self-talk, means talking with the self. Many of you have tendency to talk themselves and even during the school and the college our teachers and professors tell us to look in the mirror and talk to our-self, what self-talk provide us is the confidence and boost our motivation for living the life at the fullest.

What exactly is the self-talk? Self-talk is your inner voice, when your mind creates thoughts, you share with yourself that is self-talk or you share it by speaking to yourself is self-talk, it is a connection of yours with yourself. You have seen many sports persons do the self-talk, as strategy for motivation, to enhance performance, cope with anxiety, strengthen confidence, focus attention and for stress management.

The question arises in mind is that, why self-talk is necessary? What is the purpose of self-talk? But what everyone think is, I know what I want! I know what to do! so, this is waste of time and worthless.  But the reality towards the self-talk is far beyond than this.

Self-talk is a pillar in our self. Self-talk is a building, you can build yourself, you can design your life by your own with the pillar of self-talk, you can be architect of your own life, you can decorate your life as your wish by becoming interior designer of your own life, you can shape your personality exactly as you want, even you can solve your problems by self-talk. You can monitor your actions or deeds in the life as sometimes people reacts on action and are not aware by their actions, they deliver that action not consciously so, they mostly face adverse impact of those actions later.

Thus, we can talk about three aspects namely,

  • Self-talk for building personality.
  • Self-talk for Problem solving.
  • Self-talk for exploring our life’s graph.

Let’s see how the self-talk works.

  • Self-talk for building personality

Self-talk helps to boosts our confidence or self-esteem. Self-esteem means confidence in our own abilities, it is a driven force in us. In our life span, whatever we do, the impact of self-esteem decides our success or failure firstly. later it depends on our efforts and hard work.

Generally, we have some set mindsets about ourselves in the mind given by parents, friends, relatives in our childhood, by the time, as we grow, we carry that similar mindset to do every task, It can either optimistic approach or pessimistic. If we are adapting the optimistic approach, that is beautiful, but if it is pessimistic we must now change to the optimistic through self-talk. Our reactions are based on our self-esteem towards any circumstances so, try to maintain high self-esteem in any arduous situations, our situations become more miserable by our pessimistic reaction or approach so, be aware if you are prisoner of low self-esteem.

People around you will normally gift you the negative statements about you, then use this present and convert them into positive thoughts in your mind by doing self-talk. Talk yourself that,” though people talk about me in negative manner, I totally deny that. I know myself better than anyone else. I am the best, I know my potential very well than others”. Otherwise you’ll be victim of very low self-esteem and it may cause anger, guilt, fear, lack of confidence, frustration etc. whoever critic you your qualities, take it as learning approach. try to improve yourself with the belief take it as challenge, make your own self-talk script, the way you want to build your personality or whatever ambition you want to achieve.

For instance, you want to become the painter, then talk to yourself like

“I want to become painter.

I have all qualities which a Painter needs.

I can paint very beautifully.

I will become good painter one day!

I am very determined towards my goal and enthusiastic for it.”

You can perform your script in front of the mirror or record your voice and listen it before sleeping, this is very effective and will help you to gain confidence and motivate you to achieve your dream goal.

Self-talk script works subconsciously in our personality. When you consciously tell something to your mind, your subconscious mind easily grasps it and make it reality.

  • Self-talk for problem solving

You are at self-conscious mode and self-esteem is high than it becomes your power and you can solve any problem, whenever you face problem, you will start thinking how to get out of it, you can effectively work on it by self-talk, think of the different strategies to get rid of problem and try to implement it, for this what you need most, is self-confidence.

You talk to yourself about strategies which you want to create, try to check all aspects about the strategy and with confidence apply the strategy to problems. By self-talk, you can get more clarity about problem-solving, this gives you encouragement and prevents you to fall, it will spread the positive vibes, against the anxiety and negative thinking which effects self. You can use the mirror while talking with self. It is more effective.

See problem as a broader context, we are just stuck into the problem and think it from the narrow perceptive and due to this we start thinking more of the problems and makes the unreal assumption caused by the problem and thus any problem we face becomes very bigger, but in reality, it is not, with the broader perspective towards the problem, we can look at the problem more deeply and when you understand the problem it is half solved. As our world won’t be ruined just because of the one problem, but we are tended to make it worse due to the imaginary assumptions. As the time passes, problems are not permanent in-fact it is just temporary, but due to our imaginary assumptions we make it a bigger problem.

A little effort can change the way you think about the problem.

Firstly, try to improve your perception about problems relax your mind by writing down the problem, then do the tasks you like most means work on your hobbies it will help to boost your mind and will help to concentrate more on the problem solving rather than just thinking about the problem, this will work as the stress buster and will relax your mind and will help in the problem-solving.

You can either ask some question to the self or the best way is to write down the whole problem and the scenario related to it.

For Instance,

Question that you can ask yourself or write it down can be, “What is actual problem? Why did this problem occurred? Can I solve this problem by myself? How can this problem will affect my life?”

Answering the above-mentioned question can help you to understand the problem and when it is understood properly you are near to your answer.

  • Self-talk for exploring our life’s graph

Today’s era is techno-savvy and as technology needs improvement through the updating the software, cleaning the virus, hardware checks it is indeed same for all of us, we need to develop our-self by updating our knowledge, removing the wrong perception, and giving the body needed exercise and through all this we can be the virus free system.

Time is never same, it always changes, even nature has variation so how can be our situations remains the same? Thus, develop habit to monitor your life’s graph.

Our behavior matters a lot in our life, in every action of us, behavior is a keystone, so have you ever think about it? Sometimes you behave in such a way that you should not, other people get hurt by that behavior, that’s why develop habit of monitoring your life’s history or graph and you will get clarity about incongruencies in your life.

Life is super busy but you should invest your precious time for this and you will get the return of clarity in yourself, where you are lacking? what does improvement need? This is very nice key for the healthy relations.

 

Journey Towards Satisfaction

We know the power of positivity, but how we should utilize it in our life is the biggest puzzle. As every puzzle has a solution, have tried to establish a solution, hope this solution can help!

I am not talking about anything you should focus for positive energy. Positive energy is all about just “YOU”. You are the source of positive energy but mostly one cannot able to realize this because of busy in daily routine.

We have some set pattern in the mind about situations. When situations are in our favour we are the ‘happiest bird’, and if it is opposite than we are the ‘sad bird’. Our happiness depends on the so-called situations. And when the situations are not as per our demands we suffer from the dissatisfaction state in life.

The ultimate way to be energetic is to be detached from situations. This is the theory which you should apply practically. Train your mind to implement new thought. This is the secret for happiness and satisfaction in ourselves. It is also path towards spiritual thinking.

Have gratitude in your being, feel contentment in your situations. Have faith in God, feel blessings from them, accept the life as it is, it is a gift given by your God. So, whatever he offers you is good for you. Whatever your Guru(God) has written for you, it is totally correct for you. It is the truth in a world. Trust in him.

By adapting this philosophy, you can develop satisfaction. Through this, your mind spread this positivity in whole your existence (personality). This becomes your energy. So, you become the source of the positive energy for yourself.

Dissatisfaction chart shows that when you are in dissatisfaction mode, you feel negativity that converts in negative energy. Negative energy leads to hatred and frustration. That is your negative power. You created by your own.

Thus, we have already energy power in ourselves. You should choose which energy power you want. Obviously, all want positive energy power which shows in chart 1. But mostly we are not trying to get it so we become the victim of chart 2.

Human beings have all the power which we want. But we must realize it by focusing in our self and find our energy.  If we get it, we can achieve everything we want. It is up to us how much we desire in life.

Satisfaction mode leads to productivity in life. Your personality becomes cheerful and whatever your role is, whatever your tasks are, you will perform better and get the best results. Even if some situations are not better, you can try to change it with calmness. But earlier when you followed dissatisfaction circle, you could not have achieved this much result when you get this time by following satisfaction circle. Try it.

The situations you can’t control that gives you burden in your mind and in your heart. You can be free bird by adopting this thought and cherish your peace and happiness. When we stop “could be” and “would be” and accept what is in the present gives you immense pleasure.

Live in a present and have contentment for your being and feel positive energy. Turn your life’s vehicle on this path and live the life fullest.

 

 

Complexity of mind and life

MIND! Mind is a source of power, whatever we want to do and want to achieve, and to do so we need to train our mind to achieve it, and this can be achieved through the proper attitude and willingness towards the goal achievement.

Now the mind generates another thought, how to do so? And it aims with the simple answer, our mind works on the repetitive actions performed by us, Mind just process the thinking. In short, the process is whatever we see, we observe, we feel, we live, and whatever we do our mind absorbs it and starts process of thinking, repetitive thinking of certain manner, it becomes our philosophy or mentality, that leads to continuously perform those things and convert it in a habit and eventually it becomes our life style.

We know the habit of mind. It stays by stereotype thoughts. That’s why you should think what you want in your life. If you are not satisfied by your life than give a red signal to your mind that to act differently, think differently.

You should be able to develop habit to monitor your thought process time to time. As our mentality and thoughts are generated with our surroundings which includes our parents, friends, peers etc. also we develop this through the observation of the others. But now the question arise that is this giving me the happiness or not? If the answer is “Yes” then you are certainly living the good life but what if the answer is “No”, then certainly we are not on the right track it’s like we are following everyone like a sheep, with no aim or goals in the life, because of this we just run to strive for life with the stereotype thought, now it demands the change in the thought process which certainly leads to better life.

Now, again the question arise is how we can deal with this? the answer to this is the five-step process which can help to deal with it.

Step- 1: start with preparing the list of the things you want in your life, what is your goal, what you want to be and what you like to do most. By preparing the list of the things and starts working in that direction and this create the pattern of the thoughts, and unnecessary thinking will not be there anymore.

Step- 2: Following first step, you will aware by your actions and thoughts. This is the state of self-awareness. Self-awareness of whatever we are doing in our life is relevant or not. Is it productive or not? Is it towards our ambition or not? Is it gives happiness and peace or not etc.

Some people are victim of negative thoughts, over ambitious about material life. For example: Branded things, cars, money power, high status in society, job in big companies. Yes, it is good to think like this and necessary to achieve materialistic things. But only thinking about it than it is phobia of negativity. Jealousy, dissatisfaction, show off, cunningness, fear about something are the roots of negativity. Be aware, it is not right track.

Step- 3: Find out your interest area. If you already know- start working on it. Those who are already working on it- congratulations mate! There is a choice if you wish that converts your interest area into your profession. Than you would love your work. This is reality that you must earn money for welfare of your life. By hook or crook, you must financially stable. So, choose profession which you love to working. That will give you immense peace and satisfaction. You enjoy your time. Never get tension about workload, never feel frustration about tasks as you work what you like to do. This leads to energetic state and never tired at all. Once you start practicing your favourite area, money will follow you. This is magic indeed!

Step- 4: Give time to your hobby. This is very important for refreshment. Mind loves change in a day. It gets boredom if you do just one or two tasks repeatedly. Create your routine in such a way that can give you satisfaction and full of life. You will feel cheerful if you follow your hobbies.

Step- 5: Take care about your health, physical as well as mental. Practice yoga, meditation. Make it habit that will give you a vision.

Implement above steps and set your complexity of mind in a systematically. It is up to you where you stand, where you fit in specific aspect. Search it and try to implement it. Train your mind in that direction on which you want to make your journey.

By systematic thinking you never get confused in different walks of your life. First, make yourself clear so that you never ever confused. Even you become better person by the time and more enjoy with your family, friends, your loved ones with even responsibilities.

Rhythmic thought process balance your life by performing multiple aspects like profession, hobby, health, family, friends etc. Have contentment  in all walks of your life that eventually grow your inner beauty.
